Australia are now into 1.06 to win the Ashes for the first time since 2007. The hosts went 2-0 in front earlier this week following a victory in Adelaide. They have dominated the opening two Tests and have the opportunity to win it outright in the Third Test from Perth, which gets underway on Friday.

The Australians have also been supported ahead of their next clash with England and can now be backed in the betting markets at 1.67. The draw is 5.0, which would keep the series alive, while the visitors are 3.75 to get a win on the board.

The margin of defeat in the Second Test was not quite as big as in the opener; however, the hosts were always in control.

England are set to make changes for the third Test following two poor performance in their defence of the urn. They have only once reached over 200 so far in an innings during the two matches. Tim Bresnan could come into their bowling attack for Monty Panesar, while Steven Finn is also vying for a spot in the side.

Mitchell Johnson will be looking to extend his tally of 17 wickets of far when he takes to the field at the Waca. The visitors have lost their last six matches at the venue and only won one of their last 12 Ashes matches there since 1970

The Australian pace bowler has been recording over 90mph, which England have struggled to handle so far on the wickets they have played on. Fans who bet on cricket can back Johnson at 2.75 to be top Australian bowler.

Michael Clarke is 3.4 favourite to produce a captain’s knock in the opening innings by being top batsman for home side.
